- 1 cup corn flour may be replaced with flour
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup castor sugar may be replaced with sugar
- 500 grams butter not to be replaced with margarine
- ¼ cup pecan nuts chopped
Put butter outside fridge for a few hours to soften.
Set oven on 200°C.
Knead all ingredients together. Add nuts last.
Press dough down in a flat oven pan.
Bake for 20 - 25 minutes.
Allow to cool down slightly before cutting into fingers. Remove from pan when cold.
