- 1 large egg
- 1 185g can pie apples chopped
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 60 ml milk
Sauce
- 1 can Ideal (evaporated milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla or caramel essence
Preheat oven to 180°C/356°F.
Beat sugar and egg together.
Add milk and flour.
Fold in drained apples.
Bake for 30 - 35 minutes.
Bring ideal milk and sugar to a boil.
Add essence and pour over tart while both are still hot.
