The Best Polenta Fries
Polenta fries are a must-try for any food lover! Made from ground maize or cornmeal, these fries are a crispy and flavorful alternative to the traditional potato fries. They’re perfect as a snack or side dish and are a great way to add some variety to your menu.
To make polenta fries, the cornmeal is mixed with water, milk, or stock and cooked until thick and creamy. The mixture is then flavored with spices, herbs, or cheese and poured into a pan to chill and set. Once firm, it’s sliced into fry shapes and either baked or fried until golden brown and crispy.
Polenta fries offer a healthier option than potato fries as they are gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and low in fat. They’re also highly versatile and can be paired with a range of dips, sauces, or toppings to suit your taste buds.
