Unique Biltong Pasta - A Fusion of Flavors

Ingredients
  

  • 375 g pasta shells or fettucine
  • tsp salt
  • 1 liter water
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 100 g biltong shredded
  • tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • tsp black pepper
  • cheddar cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta in salt water (1 tsp salt) until al dente (cooked but firm).
  • Fry the mushrooms in ½ tbsp butter.
  • Add rest of the butter and flour.
  • Stir until flour is smooth. Add milk slowly while stirring to keep smooth.
  • Add ¼tsp salt and pepper. Add biltong.
  • Work the sauce through the drained pasta.
  • Top with grated cheese and serve.
