Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cup flour
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup soft butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup choc chips
  • 4 bananas smashed
  • 2 eggs

Sauce

  • ¼ cup cream
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 6 tsp choc chips

Instructions
 

  • Using a medium-size bowl, sift the flour, cocoa, and baking powder together.
  • Throw the choc chips in.
  • Beat the butter and brown sugar till light in color.
  • Add the eggs and bananas.
  • Mix this with the flour mixture.
  • Bake for 60 minutes at 180ºC (350ºF).
  • In the meantime, you can make the sauce.
  • Heat the cream and white sugar.
  • Add the butter and vanilla essence till the butter is melted.
  • Remove from heat, add the choc chips and leave for 3 minutes till melted.
  • Mix well till smooth and pour over the lukewarm banana bread.
