Polenta fries are a scrumptious and trendy alternative to regular fries, made from ground maize meal or cornmeal. This delicious snack or side dish is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a golden yellow color that will make your mouth water.

500 g cooked (left-over) polenta 1 tbsp parmesan cheese grated 1 tbsp polenta 3 tbsp olive oil
Mix parmesan through the cold (cooked) polenta.
Heat oven to 180°C/350°F.
Flatten the polenta out and cut into strips of about 4 x 1½cm, 1½cm thick.
Brush with olive oil.
Lay on a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes.
