375 g pasta shells or fettucine 1¼ tsp salt 1 liter water 250 g mushrooms 100 g biltong shredded 1½ tbsp butter 1 tbsp flour 1 cup milk ⅛ tsp black pepper cheddar cheese grated
Cook the pasta in salt water (1 tsp salt) until al dente (cooked but firm).
Fry the mushrooms in ½ tbsp butter.
Add rest of the butter and flour.
Stir until flour is smooth. Add milk slowly while stirring to keep smooth.
Add ¼tsp salt and pepper. Add biltong.
Work the sauce through the drained pasta.
Top with grated cheese and serve.
