10 pcs bread ½ cup Sugar 3 tbsp butter 4 cups milk 4 eggs Top Layer: 1 cup butter soft 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract
Take 10 slices of bread, cut off crusts and cut large blocks, 1 slice – 4 blocks.
Pour ½ cup sugar on top of bread blocks.Melt 3 tablespoons of butter, add 4 cups of milk (1l), let milk just warm, do not boil.
Beat 4 eggs, pour very slowly into hot milk mixture, the eggs must not set, mix well.
Pour mixture over bread blocks, leave for 5 minutes for milk to absorb well.
Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180℃ (356℉).
When pudding is finished baking, remove from oven and mix everything for the topping together and spread roughly over the pudding.
Place back in the oven for 20 minutes, pudding is nicely brown when it comes out, serve with custard.
