Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes peeled and grated
- 1 small onion
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 egg
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tsp fresh parsley leaves chopped
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- ⅛ tsp paprika
Instructions
- Make sure the potatoes are dry. Dab the gratings dry with kitchen paper.
- Mix with onions, flour and egg.
- Add paprika, salt and pepper and chopped parsley.
- Form flat cakes with your hands and place the on a sheet of baking paper.
- Put in the freezer to firm for 10 minutes.
- Bake in hot oil 1 cm deep for approximately 3 minutes. Turn and bake for another 2 minute or until brown. Avoid repeated turning as they break easily.
