Easy Homemade Pizza Dough (Quick & Chewy Crust)

Ingredients
  

  • cups cake flour 250ml per cup
  • 1 egg
  • 8 tbsp cooking oil or preferred oil
  • baking powder a pinch
  • salt a pinch

Instructions
 

  • Using a cup measure 4½ cups flour (250ml per cup)
  • 1 egg mixed with 4 tbps oil and top up the cup with milk
  • Using the same cup, add 4 tbps of oil and top up the cup with water
  • Add a pinch of baking powder and a pinch of salt
  • Mix well together and then using more cake flour for the surface before rolling out the dough
  • Place in oven pan
  • Add your favourite toppings
  • Bake at 180℃ for 30 minutes

  • Adjust Thickness: For a thin and crispy base, roll the dough out thinly. For a thicker, more bready crust, leave it a bit thicker.
  • Prevent Sticking: Generously flour your work surface and hands when rolling out the dough. You can also roll it out directly on baking paper to easily transfer it to the pan.
  • Crispy Crust Tip: For an extra crispy base, pre-bake the crust for 5-7 minutes before adding toppings. This helps prevent a soggy bottom, especially with wetter toppings.
  • Serving Suggestions: This versatile pizza dough is perfect for classic pizzas, but also great for mini pizzas, calzones, or even cheesy breadsticks!
  • Storage: This dough is best used immediately. If you have any leftover, store it wrapped tightly in plastic wrap in the fridge for up to 1 day. Bring to room temperature before using
