Ingredients
  

  • 4 Gem Squashes
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 liter water
  • 80 grams butter
  • 4 tsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • Prick each squash twice with a fork
  • Boil in salt water for approximately 25 minutes if fresh. Allow more time for older and larger squashes.
  • Cut in halves and remove seeds with a spoon.
  • Put some butter on each half.
  • Sugar is optional. You may prefer to eat it with extra salt.
